These are a series of minimal art depiction about product packagings of convenience foods and snacks,
which are used traditional Japanese colour scheme, such as the tricolor curtain in a Kabuki theater.

“The Copy Age” in 2004, at The Museum of Modern Art, Shiga,
curator Sachiko Ozaki suggested to show the the source of materials,
therefore I exhibited these paintings with the original products.

2004年の滋賀県立近代美術館「コピーの時代」展では、
キュレーター尾崎佐智子さんの提案を受けて、引用元の商品を併せて展示した。
